Duncan Macfarlane is an Associate Director at CROOK with extensive experience in media management, investor relations and client-based publishing.

His clients include some of Queensland's biggest listed and unlisted companies from the property,mining and finance industries.

Duncan joined CROOK after nearly a decade working as a journalist at leading news outlets in Australia and Asia, experience that has given him an extensive practical knowledge of how the media operates and a wide network of media contacts.

Duncan started his reporting career at The Australian Financial Review in Sydney.He then moved to The Australian newspaper where he worked as a reporter in its Sydneyand Brisbane bureaus as well as the Federal Press Gallery in Canberra. He has covered a wide range of areas including listed property, business regulation, politics and general news, as well as writing editorials.

Prior to joining CROOK, Duncan spent two years working as a senior sub-editor on the finance desk of an international newswire in Beijing and also worked as a sub-editor at The Courier-Mail in Brisbane.
